This project involved lead paint removal and recoating works at Newtown Town Hall, focusing exclusively on the building’s external façade surfaces. Works were carried out on masonry, sandstone, and brickwork areas, including the front façade, one side elevation, and the rear of the building. All flaking paint was carefully removed using hand scraping methods

Following surface preparation, the treated areas were recoated using a durable, weather-resistant paint system. One undercoat and two topcoats were applied to provide long-term protection against environmental exposure and to enhance the overall finish.
